Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, born April 26, 1991 and professionally referred to as Ari Lennox, hails from Washington, D.C. and is the first female artist to be signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records label. Her debut EP Pho, released which was released on 21 October 2016 was released by Dreamville Records. The singer began to earn fame. Shea Butter Baby released her first album of studio work 7 May 2019. Ari Lennox posted her music online in 2012 after she released her five Finger Discount mixtape and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014 Ari Lennox released her single Bound and her self-released mixtape Five Finger Discount. The song was included in Omen's Elephant Eyes and in Sweat It Out on July 21 in 2015. J. Cole was interested in her talents and was keen to collaborate together with Rihanna. On December 8 it was confirmed that she had been contracted to Dreamville Records. On the record Revenge of the Dreamers II, she appeared on the track Backseat with Cozz. The singer released Pho, her debut EP, on October 21 in 2016. Ari Lennox performed the song Change by J. Cole as well as opening The 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017, in which she accompanied by EarthGang. In 2018, she performed in two songs, with the EarthGang's Nothing but the Best song as well as Bas's Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th July, 2018 she released her debut single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. The music video to accompany it was also released on September 5th. In November, she released two singles, 40 Shades of Choke & Grampa. The 13th of November, she released two more singles called One and Pedigree. One as well as Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby. Shea Butter Baby was then able to make an appearance in the Creed II album soundtrack alongside Cole. She dropped this single in order to announce her debut album Creed II on 26 February 2019. It was released with the music video which debuted that was released on February 20, 2019 that surpassed three million views via YouTube within the first week. As a supporting act She toured together with 6LACK in December of 2018 for their From East Atlanta With Love Tour.
