Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae Singers. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) and Sensimelia All of these contributed to his increasing popularity among the new generation of reggae musicians. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared in Midem (international music festival) during its time in Miami for the first time. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley was part of a bidding dispute.
